My younger sister, Mary Grace, is 13 and in Form 3. Mary Grace loves school but chemistry has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The national exam is in January. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Quezon City or online, for about sixteen weeks. Mary Grace is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in chemistry, you could change the course of Mary Grace's year. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Thinking of you, Maricel. Hope this works out for you. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Ottawa.

    • Wishing you the best, Maricel. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My husband and I read this together.

      • Hope things get better soon. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Cebu City donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Quezon City.
