Free tutoring hours for Kipchoge: statistics online or in Kikuyu

Kipchoge is working hard on statistics but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the SAT would help enormously.

My son, Kipchoge, is 16 and in the final year of school. Kipchoge loves school but statistics has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The SAT exam is in August. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Kikuyu or online, for about sixteen weeks. Kipchoge is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in statistics, you could change the course of Kipchoge's year. Glad we found this place.

This is what community support looks like. They didn't just offer generic advice; they provided personalized help tailored to my specific situation.

  • Wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend

    • Thinking of you and your family, Namukasa. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Greetings from Kediri

      • Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

        • Take care, Namukasa. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Kikuyu.

reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 19 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
