My daughter, Jumoke, is 12 and in Grade 11. Jumoke loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in October. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Gwagwalada or online, for about twelve weeks. Jumoke is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Jumoke's year. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
