My younger sister, Julia, is 14 and in Form 3. Julia loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The SAT exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in El Paso or online, for about twenty weeks.
Julia is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Julia's year.
Thank you so much.

Rooting for you, Nova. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Wish I lived closer to Da Nang so I could bring a meal. Thinking of El Paso.
stay strong, Nova. Shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Love from Birmingham.
Sending good thoughts. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
