My nephew, Eugene, is 12 and in Year 10. Eugene loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the floods. The board exam is in June.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Ballarat or online, for about twelve weeks.
Eugene is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Eugene's year.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Take care. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. My neighbor in Pretoria donated after I showed her your page.
Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Ballarat.
Wishing you peace, Jade. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Mumbai this morning
