Free tutoring hours for Carol: computer science online or in Sherbrooke
Looking for a patient computer science tutor, 1 hours a week, for 10 weeks.
🇨🇦 Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada1,189 views
My younger sister, Carol, is 14 and in Year 10. Carol loves school but computer science has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The university entrance exam is in August.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Sherbrooke or online, for about twelve weeks.
Carol is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in computer science, you could change the course of Carol's year.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you and your family. Your post was clear and honest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care
Keep going, Nora. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Thinking of Sherbrooke
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Mapo.
Wishing you peace, Nora. Study hard! Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best!
Sending good thoughts, Nora. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Melbourne!
