Francois needs my motorbike repaired to get back to work in East London
Without my motorbike Francois can't work; a $450 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $450 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $290
• Labor charges: $85
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $70
• Towing and inspection: $5
Thank you for reading my story.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I hope March is when things finally get easier. Love from Karachi.
