Fire in Kyiv: help Sunrise village rebuild
After the fire, families in Sunrise village need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The fire hit Sunrise village on 12 November. My home was one of 12 damaged, and 14 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $165
• Food parcels for displaced families: $380
• Roofing sheets and timber: $805

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Yana
Sure. The biggest one is clean water and purification supplies, $165. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
