Fighting thyroid cancer: help Rami afford treatment in Salé
Rami is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rami was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. The oncology team at Salé Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Rami is 24, worked as a bank teller until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Salé Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350
• Scans and lab work: $120
• Transport to Salé Cancer Centre: $110
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $130
• Household costs while unable to work: $190
