Fighting thyroid cancer: help Nanami afford treatment in Osaka
Nanami is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Nanami was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Osaka Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Nanami is 54, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Osaka Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Osaka Regional Medical Center: $780
• Scans and lab work: $690
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $530
