Anh was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. The oncology team at Hanoi Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Anh is 33, worked as a tailor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hanoi Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $650 goes: • Transport to Hanoi Cancer Centre: $85 • Household costs while unable to work: $240 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115 • Scans and lab work: $210 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Dung. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

Is transport to Hanoi Cancer Centre the biggest cost or is there more coming?
