Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Mutua afford treatment in Entebbe
6 rounds of treatment are planned at Entebbe Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Mutua was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December. The oncology team at Entebbe Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Mutua is 32, worked as a hairdresser until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Entebbe Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Transport to Entebbe Cancer Centre: $65
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $680
• Household costs while unable to work: $260
