Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Patrick afford treatment in Orlando
Patrick is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Patrick was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July. The oncology team at Orlando Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Patrick is 53, worked as a shop owner until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Orlando Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,250
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
• Transport to Orlando Regional Medical Center: $450
