Fighting prostate cancer: help Bea afford treatment in San Fernando
Bea is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Bea was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March. The oncology team at San Fernando Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Bea is 57, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Fernando Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $240
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,290
