Fighting multiple myeloma: help Kübra afford treatment in Üsküdar
Kübra is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Kübra was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at Üsküdar Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Kübra is 46, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Üsküdar Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,700
• Scans and lab work: $290
• Transport to Üsküdar Cancer Centre: $130
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $180
• Household costs while unable to work: $300
