Kathleen was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in May. The oncology team at Manila Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Kathleen is 38, worked as a bus conductor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Manila Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $600 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $175 • Scans and lab work: $290 • Transport to Manila Regional Medical Center: $135 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

  • Hang in there, Mercy. Get well soon. God bless.

    • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 17 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

      • Good luck, Mercy. Hope this works out for you. All the best.

        • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
