Fighting multiple myeloma: help Cynthia afford treatment in Tacoma
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Tacoma University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Cynthia was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in June. The oncology team at Tacoma University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Cynthia is 24, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tacoma University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,200 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $390
• Transport to Tacoma University Hospital: $1,000
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,350
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,460
