Yoga was diagnosed with kidney cancer in October. The oncology team at Bogor Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Yoga is 44, worked as a tailor until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bogor Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,900 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100 • Scans and lab work: $250 • Transport to Bogor Regional Medical Center: $140 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95 • Household costs while unable to work: $315 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
