Fighting kidney cancer: help Roman afford treatment in Coventry
Roman is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇬🇧 Coventry, England, United Kingdom1,277 views
Roman was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The oncology team at the Coventry Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Roman is 32, worked as a farmer until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Coventry Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $10,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,500
• Scans and lab work: $670
• Transport to the Coventry Oncology Institute: $820
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,380
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
