Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Charles afford treatment in Albany
Supporting Charles through Hodgkin lymphoma: medication, transport to Albany Regional Medical Center, and living costs while He can't work.
Anywhere in the world1,230 views
Charles was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at Albany Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Charles is 24, worked as a farmer until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Albany Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $880
• Transport to Albany Regional Medical Center: $470
• Scans and lab work: $950
Thanks for reading all this.
