Nikhil is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Nikhil was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in June. The oncology team at Leeds Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Nikhil is 46, worked as a bakery worker until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Leeds Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Leeds Regional Medical Center: $630
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $560
