Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Komal afford treatment in Tiruchirappalli
Komal is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Komal was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in November. The oncology team at Tiruchirappalli University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Komal is 45, worked as a bakery worker until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tiruchirappalli University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
