Fighting cervical cancer: help Héctor afford treatment in Ciudad de México
Supporting Héctor through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Ciudad de México Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico324 views
Héctor was diagnosed with cervical cancer in June. The oncology team at Ciudad de México Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Héctor is 35, worked as a bank teller until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ciudad de México Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $800 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $240
• Transport to Ciudad de México Cancer Centre: $240

Thinking of you, Graciela. Looking forward to the next update
Wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Ciudad de México.
Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Ciudad de México
So sorry you're going through this, Graciela. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
rooting for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in Cape Coast donated after I showed her your page
