Fighting cervical cancer: help Grace afford treatment in Ikeja
Grace is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Grace was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April. The oncology team at Ikeja Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Grace is 48, worked as a tailor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ikeja Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000
• Transport to Ikeja Cancer Centre: $75
• Scans and lab work: $180
