Fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia: help Marcos afford treatment in Madrid
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Madrid Regional Medical Center; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Marcos was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in February. The oncology team at Madrid Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Marcos is 32, worked as a bakery worker until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Madrid Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $6,900 goes:
• Transport to Madrid Regional Medical Center: $400
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,400
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,550
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $550
