Fighting a rare sarcoma: help Oluwaseun afford treatment in Badagry
Supporting Oluwaseun through a rare sarcoma: medication, transport to Badagry University Hospital, and living costs while She can't work.
🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria1,610 views
Oluwaseun was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in November. The oncology team at Badagry University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Oluwaseun is 53, worked as a bank teller until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Badagry University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $600 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55
• Transport to Badagry University Hospital: $110
• Scans and lab work: $135
• Household costs while unable to work: $300
Every share and every dollar helps.
