Fernanda needs a lift to the San Francisco Dialysis Unit - can you help one day a week?
Could you drive Fernanda to the San Francisco Dialysis Unit on Monday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.

Fernanda has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the San Francisco Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Fernanda can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Fernanda is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I hope life is good to you.

Keep going. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest.
Best of luck, Carmen. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care.
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
