Feng is opening a catering business and needs a mentor who has done it

A short monthly mentoring call on pricing, suppliers and bookkeeping would help a first-time founder.

I'm launching a catering business in Cambridge next October. I have saved the start-up funds myself, but I have never run a business before. I've questions about pricing, suppliers, simple bookkeeping, hiring and - frankly - how not to burn out. I'm looking for a mentor with real small-business experience, ideally in a catering business, willing to have a monthly call for the first six months. I'll bring a list of questions and my numbers. If you have a few hours a month, and enjoy helping someone avoid the mistakes you made, I'd really appreciate it. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

thinking of you and your family, Feng. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Put this on a community board in Liverpool this morning. All the best.

Small businesses are the heart of Cambridge. Hope you're open again soon. After 24 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
