Feed 92 families each week at the Second Helping in Busan
The the Second Helping pantry in Busan is running low just as demand rises; $1,950 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Saturday from the back of a community center. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 92 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Busan market and keep every receipt.
Each $20 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $460
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $820
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $670
