Feed 81 families each week at the Second Helping in Gangnam
Kyung-soo runs a volunteer pantry feeding 81 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 81 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gangnam market and keep every receipt.
Each $25 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $980
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $920
• Baby formula and diapers: $360
• Refrigeration and electricity: $190
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hang in there, Kyung-soo. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
You're not alone. Great idea, hope you get there. Blessings.
Hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best
