Feed 71 families each week at the Second Helping in Kediri
The the Second Helping pantry in Kediri is running low just as demand rises; $550 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Second Helping every Thursday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 28 families, and now we feed 71 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kediri market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $320
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $90
• Baby formula and diapers: $80
• Refrigeration and electricity: $60
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
