Feed 330 families each week at the Thursday Table in El Paso
The the Thursday Table pantry in El Paso is running low just as demand rises; $2,850 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Thursday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 330 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the El Paso market and keep every receipt.
Each $60 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,250
• Refrigeration and electricity: $320
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,280
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
