Feed 309 families each week at Community Pantry in Medellín
Help keep a free food pantry open for students and shift workers in Medellín.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Thursday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 309 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 7 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Medellín market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $900 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $175
• Baby formula and diapers: $115
• Refrigeration and electricity: $110
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
