The the Thursday Table pantry in Nashik is running low just as demand rises; $400 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Wednesday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 260 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Nashik market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $400 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $50
• Baby formula and diapers: $90
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $260
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
