Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Sunday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 175 each week. Donations have dropped by about 60% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Berlin market and keep every receipt. Each $40 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $2,350 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,100 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $480 • Baby formula and diapers: $630 • Refrigeration and electricity: $140 With deep gratitude, Monika

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale) comes first ($1,100) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. I'll keep the page updated.

                • Thanks for sharing this, Monika. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 27 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything
