Feed 157 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Takoradi
Emmanuel runs a volunteer pantry feeding 157 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 157 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 30% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Takoradi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $330
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $135
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope things get better soon, Emmanuel. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
Keep going, Emmanuel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
