Federica received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A termination letter arrived last week. Federica needs $2,400 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Messina.

After a sudden layoff at the packaging plant, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,400.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Rent arrears (5 months): $1,750
• Late fees and court costs: $145
• Utilities in arrears: $160
• First month of rent as a buffer: $345
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

hope it all works out, Federica. Shared it with a few friends. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Messina!
take care, Federica. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Auckland but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Messina.
Thinking of you and your family, Federica. This could happen to any of us. All the best
Hope things get better soon. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't give up. God bless.
Hang in there, Federica. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
