I'm four months into recovery from cannabis dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

    • Wishing you peace, Fatuma. This could happen to any of us. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

      • Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Take care

Sending strength, Fatuma. Wishing Fatuma a smooth procedure and a full recovery. After 26 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything
