Farewell fund for Fotini: help Alexandros's family in Piraeus
Alexandros lost his sister suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $2,900.

Fotini, my sister, passed away on 24 May after a stroke. She was 54 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Fotini to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,000
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $530
• Transport of the deceased: $250
• Memorial gathering for the family: $120

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Alexandros.
Funeral home services and casket is $2,000 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.
