Dipu, my uncle, passed away on 9 June after a road accident. He was 93 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Dipu to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $800 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $450
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $210
• Transport of the deceased: $75
• Memorial gathering for the family: $65
