Farewell fund for Derek: help Amber's family in Aberdeen

Derek, my father, passed away on 15 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 53 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Derek to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
