Christopher, my grandfather, passed away on 20 July after a sudden heart attack. He was 66 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,100 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Christopher to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,050
