Farewell fund for Athumani: help Okello's family in Kasarani
Okello lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $600.

Athumani, my grandfather, passed away on 16 August after a stroke. He was 29 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 27 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Athumani to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $210
• Funeral home services and casket: $340
• Memorial gathering for the family: $50
