My mother Veronica has been accepted for treatment at Milan University Hospital in Milan, starting on Thursday in April. We live 422 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Veronica and me. We can contribute $85 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Veronica will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Thank you so much.

  • Good luck, Nicola. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.

Wishing you the best, Nicola. Hope the doctors have good news. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Milan.
