Family housing near Manila Transplant Centre: 4 weeks
Josefina is coming to Manila Transplant Centre for 4 weeks of treatment and the family needs somewhere affordable to stay.
🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines267 views
My daughter Josefina has been accepted for treatment at Manila Transplant Centre in Manila, starting on Thursday in November. We live 569 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself.
We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 4 weeks. Two of us would stay: Josefina and me. We can contribute $25 a week and cook for the household if you'd like.
Josefina will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- 3–6 weeks
- format
- In person in Manila
- skills
- a spare room near the hospital

Shared this with my family. I hope December is when things finally get easier
Thinking of you and your family, Mercy. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Manila
Hang in there, Mercy. I hope things turn around soon. Take care
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together. Love from Rome.
Rooting for you. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Get well soon. Wish I lived closer to Raleigh so I could bring a meal. Blessings
Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. I'm in teaching myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
