Eva, a smallholder in Illinois, is facing rising soil salinity and needs advice from an agronomist.

I farm 2 hectares of rice in Illinois. This season I'm dealing with rising soil salinity. I've tried what the local suppliers recommended, but results aren't improving.
I'm looking for an agronomist or experienced grower who can look at photos, soil-test results and my planting plan, and advise on what to change. A 30-minute call or exchange of messages would be fantastic.
I'm happy to share photos and a soil test. I'm using only what I can afford, so low-cost suggestions are best. I'll share how it goes - and what worked - to help others in the community.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Springfield
Good luck, Eva. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry
hope it all works out, Eva. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from New Delhi.
Best of luck, Eva. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Hope things get better soon, Eva. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Ciudad de México donated after I showed her your page
