Eun-ji received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A final eviction notice arrived last week. Eun-ji needs $2,150 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Busan.

After a sudden layoff at the restaurant, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Friday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,150.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $440
• Utilities in arrears: $145
• Rent arrears (3 months): $1,565
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
