English writing help for Donal, preparing for the GCSE exam
Donal is working hard on English writing but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the GCSE would help enormously.

My younger brother, Donal, is 14 and in Form 3. Donal loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The GCSE exam is in July.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend an hour or two a week, in person in Dublin or online, for about ten weeks.
Donal is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Donal's year.
Glad we found this place.

you're not alone, Barry. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.
take care, Barry. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
