Tucker is my rabbit of two years. On 18 February we rushed to Vancouver Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,700. They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond May. Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $125 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Vancouver Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Tucker's recovery. Where the $1,700 goes: • Emergency surgery: $750 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $560 • Medication and follow-up visits: $115 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $275 I hope life is good to you. - Jun

  • Stay strong, Jun. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
