Fort Portal

Sunny is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 16 November we rushed to Fort Portal Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny got me through my hardest year. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Fort Portal Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $250 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $85 • Emergency surgery: $145 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $20 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Updates from Hellen

Thank you all. We're at 44% now ($109). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts.
